Electricity flows

With the ‘Conductive Playdough’ experiment, children have fun while exploring basic concepts of electricity.

In this project, young inventors will use modelling clay to conduct electricity and create simple circuits

Why this project?

The Conductive Playdough project was created with three main objectives:

Understanding key concepts: In this project, young inventors will learn how electrical energy moves through materials such as modelling clay and discover the difference between series and parallel circuits.

Understanding its impact on society: As the project progresses, children will gain awareness of the importance of electricity in society, as well as how it “flows” through electrical circuits.

Fostering creativity and an inventive mindset: By taking part in this process, young inventors develop problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and motor coordination.
